Al-Houtia Local Community Development Association is a non-profit Egyptian NGO supervised by the Ministry of Social Solidarity. From its premises on El-Falouga Street it provides medical, social and cultural services to the families of the neighbourhood and to anyone who comes to its door.

Free medical caravans
Free screening for all ages under Egypt's "100 Million Health" early cancer detection initiative, including blood pressure and diabetes checks.
Dignified transport vehicle
The association's own equipped vehicle for the dignified transport of the deceased, serving local families anywhere in Egypt.

About the association
From the neighbourhood, for the neighbourhood
The association was registered in August 1993 under number 1154 with the Giza Directorate of Social Affairs, with "local community development" in Al-Houtia, Agouza, as its founding field. In 2022 it brought its statute into line with Law No. 149 of 2019 on civil work; its scope is now nationwide, across seven approved fields.
It is governed by a seven-member board elected by the general assembly and supervised by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

A new medical caravan at the premises
The association thanked the doctors who took part in the caravan held at its El-Falouga Street premises and shared photos from inside the clinics.
"100 Million Health" early detection caravan
Free screening for breast cancer, blood pressure, diabetes and kidney masses, for all ages, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Dignified transport vehicle now in service
The association announced its vehicle for the dignified transport of the deceased, reaching every part of Egypt.
